The LAC has delivered an important judgment interpreting section 187(1)(c) of the LRA (a section which was amended as part of the LRA amendments). The judgment deals with the permissibility of an employer dismissing employees based on its operational requirements, where employees have refused to agree to a change to their terms and conditions of employment.
